I was walking down the street one day, and waiting to cross the street. A man in an electric wheelchair smoking a cigarette pulled up next to me. We say hello. He asks me if I’m a Christian, I say yes (which is not entirely true… but I was raised Christian, and believe it is important to try and treat others how you would like to be treated, and feel a connection with a higher power). He comments on my sandals, I say I am hanging on to the last few days of summer.
He tells me he sees Christ in me. I say “really?” What the hell else do you say to that??
“Yes, I’m serious, I looked at you and immediately saw Christ in you. No lie”
“Well, thank you”
“You’re welcome… God Bless!” and the light changed and he took off.
I just thought it was a nice thing to say to somebody. And it made me feel like I at least looked like a nice person. I don’t really know if Christ rides around in my body, but that’s cool. It was like a scene in a movie… except I didn’t go on to live some meaningful and exciting life. Just went home and ate a sandwich and felt good about myself for about an hour.

haha, nice… it’s always kool to meet someone as nice as that. nice story, thanks. – GB
